Neighborhood Updates

As we work to keep up with community information and updates, we welcome and encourage your input as well.

All Members are expected to be good stewards and act responsibly at our beach and gated access points. Take time to wash away sand on the shower platform, pick up trash left behind by others, and inform the Board, immediately, if you see something that needs to be addressed.

Beach Erosion - Use Caution!

March 5, 2018:  Please use extreme caution when accessing the beach.

Heavy surf and beach erosion continue to impact the beach including the sand dunes and the walkways.

All residents are advised to access the beach using the sand pathway and to avoid walking on the wooden overlook. Plans are in progress to secure the area and to rebuild the structure once conditions improve.

Update on Landscaping at North Beach Gate

March 04, 2017

Due to safety concerns one of the Silver Buttonwood trees (located close to the shower area) was recently removed. Although this tree was a beautiful addition to our landscaping and added to the nice canopy, it was increasingly becoming a hazard as the main branch was encroaching on the walkway.  New landscaping will be added in the coming weeks, as well as painting of the area.  Stay tuned for pictures of the enhancements that will continue to beautify our beach area.

North Beach Gate Improvements

January 01, 2017

Renovations to the north entry beach gates are now complete. The gates and fences to the east and west were replaced, signage installed and over 400 sandbags have been added to help combat the erosion at our North Beach Gate area.

Painting of the area will begin in the next several weeks.

A series of Nor'easter storms are scheduled to hit our coastline this winter, potentially bringing high surf and wind.  We will be closely monitoring the area.

Dogs on the Beach

Please remember to follow the City of Pompano Beach's rules to avoid Animal Control citiations.  Dogs must be on leashes and you must have at least one bag for waste.  Most importantly, you MUST clean up after your dog.  We are allowed to bring leashed dogs on the beach ONLY if using the private beach access.

Please be considerate and respectful. The ability to bring our furry friends to the beach is a privilege.
